The circumstances when scientists use observational research and opinion based research is when they include animals or things that cannot control for a product. Observational research is a type of research which only observes ongoing behavior and studies about it and the results only rely on the behavior observed.

Find the grams in 1.26 x 10^-4 mole of HC2 H3O2
ivolga24 [154]
Molar mass :

HC₂H₃O₂ = 1 + 12*2 + 1 * 3 + 16 * 2 = 60 g/mol

1 mole HC₂H₃O₂ -------------- 60 g
1.26x10-⁴ mole ----------------- mass

mass = 1.26x10-⁴ * 60

mass = 0.00756 g of HC₂H₃O₂

hope this helps!

How many grams of pure naoh must be used to prepare 10.0 l of a solution that has a ph of 13? __________g?
padilas [110]

40 g NaOH. You must use 40 g NaOH to prepare 10.0 L of a solution that has a pH of 13.

Step 1. Calculate the pOH of the solution

pOH = 14.00 – pH = 14.00 -13 = 1

Step 2. Calculate the concentration of NaOH

[NaOH] = [OH^(-)] = 10^(-pOH) mol/L = 10^(-1) mol/L = 0.1 mol/L

Step 3. Calculate the moles of NaOH

Moles of NaOH = 10.0 L solution × (0.1 mol NaOH/1 L solution) = 1 mol NaOH

Step 4. Calculate the mass of NaOH

Mass of NaOH = 1 mol NaOH × (40.00 g NaOH/1 mol NaOH) = 40 g NaOH

. How many grams of magnesium chloride can be produced by reacting 2 moles of chlorine gas with excess magnesium bromide? ____Cl
dlinn [17]

Answer: 190 g of magnesium chloride can be produced by reacting 2 moles of chlorine gas with excess magnesium bromide.

Explanation:

The balanced chemical reaction is;

Cl_2+MgBr_2\rightarrow MgCl_2+Br_2

Cl_2 is the limiting reagent as it limits the formation of product and MgBr_2 is the excess reagent.

According to stoichiometry :

1 mole of Cl_2 produces = 1 mole of MgCl_2

Thus 2 moles of Cl_2 will produce=\frac{1}{1}\times 2=2moles of MgCl_2

Mass of MgCl_2=moles\times {\text {Molar mass}}=2moles\times 95g/mol=190g

Thus 190 g of magnesium chloride can be produced by reacting 2 moles of chlorine gas with excess magnesium bromide
