In developing countries, labor is cheap and low wages are paid to employees. This enables firms to manufacture products at a low cost and, therefore, to fix low prices for them too. Such goods are exported because they become attractive in the international sphere due to their price. Domestic products from developed nations cannot compete in prices with those imports, because their production costs are much higher, specially the labor costs.

If domestic products cannot compete with imports, domestic firms will not be able to sell their products and this would lead to decrease in sales, a loss of profit and to an excess of employees that wil have to be dismissed.

In absolute terms, low wages in a developing country reduce the production, income and employment levels in developed countries.

kari74 [83]

The correct answer would be, duty of fair representation.

The union steward helped him throughout the case until he settled the matter in the bargaining unit. Such an act shows adherence to duty of fair representation.

Explanation:

If there are unions in any organization, then it is the sole duty of the union leader and representatives to represent case of every labor worker to the management even if he or she is not the part of that union.

It is mandatory for the leader of the union to represent the case of all workers fairly without any discrimination.

So when Justin has a problem and filed a grievance against the management, the union steward helped him throughout the case until he settled down the matter with the bargaining unit, even Justin was not the part of the union at his workplace This shows adherence to duty of fair representation.

katrin [286]

Answer:

Job design.

Explanation:

As Liu knows there is no single leading theory accepted by everyone on what motivates people, she looks into the top four perspectives: content, process, reinforcement, and job design. Job design is the process of rearranging work to avoid dissatisfaction. If the job is repetitive and mechanic it may produce dissatisfaction and low levels of production. There is a need for personal challenge and personal achievement in one's work to stay motivated.
