Input:

s = 100 m

v = 0.5 m/s

t = ?

Equation:

v = s / t

t = s / v

t = 100 [m] / 0.5 [m/s]

t = 200 s

Answer: 200 seconds.

The answer is A)

Here are some informations you should know:

Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun and the third giant gas planet. It rotates like all planets. But Uranus tilts far to one side. Instead of rotating in an upright position, Uranus rolls along like a bowling ball. Uranus also travels very slowly. Uranus has 27 moons. It takes 84 Earth days to complete one orbit.

Liz puts a 1 kg weight and a 10 kg on identical sleds. She then applies a 10N force to each sled. Describe why the smaller weigh
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

the correct answer is D- Acceleration depends indirectly on the mass.

According to Newton's second law, the force F, the mass m and the acceleration a are related as follows:

F=ma

Therefore,

a=\frac{F}{m}

The acceleration <em>a₁ </em>of the mass<em> m₁ =1 kg</em>  is given by,

a_1=\frac{F}{m_1} \\ =\frac{10N}{1kg} \\ =10m/s^2

The acceleration <em>a₂ </em>of the mass <em>m₂=10 kg</em> is given by,

a_2=\frac{10N}{10kg} \\ =1m/s^2

The smaller mass has greater acceleration.

Thus, when the force applied on two bodies of different masses remains constant, then,

a\alpha  \frac{1}{m}

Acceleration is inversely proportional to the mass of the body.

ANSWERS UNDER QUESTIONS:
Julli [10]
<h2>Answers:</h2><h2 /><h2>a) Arrow B</h2><h2>b) Arrow E</h2>

Explanation:

Refraction is a phenomenon in which a wave (the light in this case) bends or changes its direction <u>when passing through a medium with a refractive index different from the other medium.</u>  Where the Refractive index is a number that describes how fast light propagates through a medium or material.

According to this, if we observe the rays  A an D passing throgh the biconcave lens, we will have two mediums:

1) The air

2)The material of the biconcave lens

This two mediums have different refractive indexes, hence the rays will change the direction.

-For the incident ray A, the corresponding refractive ray is B, because is the ray that bends after passing throgh the lens

-For the incident ray D, the refracted ray is E following the same principle.
