Answer:

y+4=-3/2(x-2) is the answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Again over here just use the y=mx+c

m which is the slope is change in y over change in x which in this case is \frac{-3}{2} so which just that we can cross out the first option for the answer secondly to be able to find C just take literally any point from the graphed line, for instance we take (-2,2), just add it in the equation and solve for C

2=-\frac{3}{2}(-2)+c\\2=3+c\\0=3-2+c\\c=-1

y=-3/2-1

Now all you have to see is which of the three equations is equivalent to the one we just found

y+4=-3/2(x-2) is the answer :)

Which of the following equation have exactly one solution?
Archy [21]

Answer:

A, B, C all have one solution.

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Each equation in this question has one variable (x). This means that only one solution will be there.

2) Solve for x, you can cross out option D. When you subtract 52x from both sides, you're left with 52 = -78

Which is not true

3) Option A, if solved x = -65/68

4) Option B, x = 13/2

5) Option C, x = 5

All except D, have one solution, I don't know if it's a multiple choice answer but this is how I can help.

The polynomial p(x)=x^3-6x^2+32p(x)=x 3 −6x 2 +32p, left parenthesis, x, right parenthesis, equals, x, cubed, minus, 6, x, squar
Ray Of Light [21]

Answer:

(x-4)(x-4)(x+2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given p(x) = x^3-6x^2+32 when it is divided by x - 4, the quotient gives

x^2-2x-8

Q(x) = P(x)/d(x)

x^3-6x^2+32/x- 4 = x^2-2x-8

Factorizing the quotient

x^2-2x-8

x^2-4x+2x-8

x(x-4)+2(x-4)

(x-4)(x+2)

Hence the polynomial as a product if linear terms is (x-4)(x-4)(x+2)

Simplify 8 over negative 3 divided by negative 4 over 9 . (5 points)
-8
-6
6
8
denpristay [2]

Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

(8/3) / (-4/9)

when dividing fractions you use the acronym k.c.f (keep change flip)

keep the first fraction

change the operation (divide to multiply)

flip the other fraction

(8/-3) x (9/4)

after re-writing your expression, you want to solve

do this by multiplying both numerators by each other and same with the denominators

(-8x9) / (3x-4)

then you get a new fraction,

-72/-12

simplify,

-72/-12 = 6 (multiplying/dividing 2 negatives will always give you a positive)
