Answer:

Simplifying

15 + 12x + -5x + 4y + -7 = 0

Reorder the terms:

15 + -7 + 12x + -5x + 4y = 0

Combine like terms: 15 + -7 = 8

8 + 12x + -5x + 4y = 0

Combine like terms: 12x + -5x = 7x

8 + 7x + 4y = 0

Solving

8 + 7x + 4y = 0

Solving for variable 'x'.

Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right.

Add '-8' to each side of the equation.

8 + 7x + -8 + 4y = 0 + -8

Reorder the terms:

8 + -8 + 7x + 4y = 0 + -8

Combine like terms: 8 + -8 = 0

0 + 7x + 4y = 0 + -8

7x + 4y = 0 + -8

Combine like terms: 0 + -8 = -8

7x + 4y = -8

Add '-4y' to each side of the equation.

7x + 4y + -4y = -8 + -4y

Combine like terms: 4y + -4y = 0

7x + 0 = -8 + -4y

7x = -8 + -4y

Divide each side by '7'.

x = -1.142857143 + -0.5714285714y

Simplifying

x = -1.142857143 + -0.5714285714y

What is the common denominator of 1/a + 1/b in the complex fraction 1/a-1/b divided by 1/a+ 1/b?
timurjin [86]

Answer:

common denominator of 1/a + 1/b is  ab

however simplifying the complex fraction gives:   (b-a)/(b +a)

Step-by-step explanation:

common denominator of 1/a + 1/b

should be the product of the denominators

a*b

so   1/a  + 1/b =   (b + a)/ab

ao

( 1/a  - 1/b)  divided by (1/a + 1/b) =  (b - a)/(ab)  divided by (b+a)/ab

Please help me with his question :)
Yuri [45]
I’m pretty sure it’s the third option, Bella saves more per chore than Sweet T. If you replace the c in Bella’s equation with 1, it would be 3.5 times 1 which is 3.5 and then add 11 and it would be 14.5 which is more then Sweet T. You can do this with the rest of the numbers and Bella would still have more then Sweet T. Per chore
