andre [41]

Answer:

C. Linear decrease

Step-by-step explanation:

I can't really show a graph but I will try to explain

The water is leaking at a constant rate, meaning its not regaining it water (its only leaking). So if u were to graph this it would be a linear decrease

1 substitute p=5, q=7, r = -2
lora16 [44]

1.

a.) 2q + 5r

2(7) + 5(-2)

14 - 10 = 4

b.) 3(p + 6) + q + r Plug in the numbers

3(5 + 6) + 7 - 2 Solve inside the parentheses first

3(11) + 7 - 2

33 + 5 = 38

2.

a.) m(3m + 4n)

2(3(2) + 4(3))

2(6 + 12)

2(18) = 36

b.) n²(m + p²)

(3)²(2 + (-5)²)

9(2 + 25)

9(27) = 243

c.) 3m(8 + n) + n²

3(2) (8 + 3) + 3²

6(11) + 9

66 + 9 = 75

50% of a certain number is 39. What is the number?
Allushta [10]
Let that certain number be 'n'

50% (n) = 39

50% ⇒ 0.5

0.5 (n) = 39

Divide both sides by 0.5

0.5n = 39
/0.5 /0.5

n = 78.

So that certain number is actually 78! :)

CROSS CHECK:

50% of 78

0.5 × 78

= 39

Hope this helps! :)
