Answer is A the liquids have normal molecules just floating around within a normal distance when its a solid they are attracted thus causing them to be so tight that it becomes solid and when its a gas the molecules get so far attached that it aint a liquid nor solid anymore

The answer is A because......... During melting, The attractions between the water molecules weaken. The kinetic energy or "moving energy" increases as the particles are moving more. As the ice melts into liquid water, the molecules are still attracted to each other, but less than in the solid state.
