The process that involves regulation of cell division in mammals includes:
Rapid production of cyclin proteins that activate CDK enzymes;
The activated cyclin CDK complexes trigger cell cycle events.
Different cyclins and CDKs act at different stages of the cell cycle to promote cell division.
The rapid degradation of cyclins after CDK activation.
Through phosphorylation, Cdks signal the cell that it is ready to pass into the next stage of the cell cycle. The Cyclin-Dependent Protein kinases are dependent on cyclins, another class of regulatory proteins. Cyclins bind to the Cdks, activating the Cdks to phosphorylate other molecules.

Elanso [62]

Answer:

converted into fat and stored in adipose tissue

Explanation:

When protein is taken in excess amount, because it cannot be stored in the body, it can be broken down to amino acids, which is further used as carbon skeletons to synthesize fats, which is then further stored in the adipose tissues.

When the body is not receiving enough calories from other nutrient sources like carbohydrates and fats, the available protein is the used as energy to meet the body's energy demands, by converting it to fat.

Note that, excess intake of protein can be harmful to the body.

Describe the ATP molecule and its function within a cell.
geniusboy [140]
ATP stores and transports energy in the cells, usually in the mitochondria. Energy is released by hydrolysis (carbohydrates being broken down into sugar molecules), which eventually results in forming ADP (adenosine diphosphate) that absorbs the energy and recharges the phosphate group and ATP

The ph of your stomach must be (a)more than 7 (b)basic (c)equal to 7 (d) none of the above
marysya [2.9K]

Answer:

(d) None of the above

Explanation:

The pH of your stomach must be highly acidic, because the optimum pH for pepsin, the chief stomach enzyme, is 1.5.

(a) and (b) are wrong, because both conditions are basic.

(c) is wrong, because pH 7 is neutral.
