Why do third parties rarely succeed in national elections?
Alexandra [31]
Third parties rarely succeed in national elections because the vote is divided between the two larger parties. Take for example Clinton and Trump. The two largest candidates for the most recent national election, if there had been another candidate named Smith, and he was a third party representative and believe in Pro-Choice, higher taxes, and had similar views of Clinton, it would have diluted her vote and caused Trump to unanimously win the election.

Inga [223]

In this case, the perception of Melina's friends and family contradicts Melina's <u>"Ideal self image".</u>

In psychology the real self and the ideal self are terms used to depict identity or personality domains.

The real self can be seen by others, but since we have no chance to get of really knowing how others see us, the real self is our self image.

The ideal self, is the manner by which we need to be. It is a romanticized picture that we have created after some time, in view of what we have realized and experienced. The ideal self could incorporate parts of what our folks have shown us, what we appreciate in others, what our general public advances, and what we believe is to our greatest advantage.
