(ii) The directional derivative of F at the point (1, 1, −5) in the direction of the vector a = 2·i + 3·j −√3·k

The magnitude of the vector 2·i +3·j -√3·k is √(2²+3²+(-√3)² ) = 4, the unit vector is therefore
