Answer:

V₂ = 16.8V₁

Explanation:

P₁ = 4.2L   =>   P₂ = 1/2P₁ => Decreasing Pressure => Increases Volume

V₁ = V₁      =>    V₂ = ?

T₁ = T₁       =>    T₂ = 2T₁  => Increasing Temperature => Increases Volume

P₁V₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂ => V₂ = P₁V₁T₂ / P₂T₁ = (4.2P₁)(V₁)(2T₁) / (P₁/2)(T₁) = 16.8V₁

Calculate the acceleration of Josh riding his bicycle in a straight line that speeds up from 4 m/s to 6 m/s in 5 seconds. Initia
drek231 [11]

Answer:

Initial Speed ____4m/s. Final Speed ______6m/s. Time ______5 seconds . Acceleration =________0.4m/s²

Explanation:

The acceleration is the rate of change of velocity during time t .

acceleration = Final velocity- Initial velocity/ Time

                    = Vf- Vi/ t

            a = Δv/ Δt

                   = 6m/s- 4m/s/ 5s

                   = 2m/s/ 5s

                  = 0.4m/s²

It can also be defined as the difference of the initial and final velocity ( velocities measured in meters per second) during the given time t measured in seconds .The SI unit of acceleration is meter per second squared.

If the velocities are not measured in meters per second or time is not measured in seconds then the units are changed accordingly.

Convert 2.54 moles of CaCl, to liters.
Agata [3.3K]

2.54 moles of CaCl occupies 56.89 liters volume

Explanation:

  • Each mole of any gas occupies 22.4 liters volume at STP.
  • STP is defined as the standard temperature and pressure and those standard values are zero degree and one atmospherics pressure
  • 22.4 liters is a constant number as Avogadro's number which is nothing but 6.022* 10^{23} .
  • Hence, to convert 2.54 moles just multiply it with 22.4 L
  • That is, 22.4*2.54= 56.89 L
  • So, 2.54 moles of CaCl occupies 56.89 L volume space
