Answer:

Using radiometric dating they SUPPORT the hypothesis on the origin of life on Earth

Explanation:

A fossil is a preserved remnant of a living organism from the past, this fossilization can be achieved by many processes including carbonization, recrystallization, permineralization, etc. These fossils can be used to obtain different information about the past and the origin of life on earth, for example, chemical fossils are a kind of fossil found in rocks and fuels like coal or petroleum, they represent one of the oldest kind of fossils found and through the use of radiometric dating, where carbon isotopes are measured, their existence implies the presence of life as early as 4.1 billion years ago.

I hope you find this information useful and interesting! Good luck!

How many milliliters of a 0.80 M sucrose solution contain each of the following number of grams? The molar mass of sucrose (C12H
OlgaM077 [116]

The number of Ml of 0.80 M sucrose solution that contain

(A) 7.45 g are  27.25 Ml

calculation

volume= moles /molarity

molarity = 0.80 M which is the same as  0.80 mol/l

moles=  mass/molar mass

=  7.45 g/ 342.3 g/mol =0.0218 moles

volume is therefore  = 0.0218 moles / 0.80 mol/L=0.02725 L

convert into ml by multiplying by 1000

= 27.25  ml

    question b

volume  = moles/molarity

molarity =  0.80 M = 0.80 Mol/L

moles =mass/molar mass

mass 17.0 mg convert into g by diving by 1000=0.017 g

moles is therefore  = 0.017 g/ 342.3 g/mol = 4.97 x10^-5 moles

volume =  (4.97 x 10^-5 moles)  /0.8  mol /l=6.21 x10^-5 L

= 6.21 x10^-5  x 1000 =0.0621 Ml

How would you monitor the progress of a neutralization reaction? Question 2 options: We will use a funnel to separate the solid
natita [175]

Answer:

We will use an acid-base indicator to see changes in colour depending on the pH

Explanation:

The pH changes during a titration, so you could use an acid-base indicator to follow the changes in pH.

A is wrong. An acid-base titration does not usually form a solid, and it would be impractical to isolate a solid with a funnel.

B is wrong. There are no changes in mass.

C is wrong. Any changes in temperature would be too small to measure precisely with an ordinary thermometer.
