Answer:

                    Benzoyl Chloride

Explanation:

Friedel-Craft Acylation is reaction utilized to add electrophiles (particularly carbonyl group) across double bonds of aromatic compounds.

In given case benzophenone is synthesized using benzene and benzoyl chloride.

Mechanism:

Step 1: In first step benzoyl chloride is treated with lewis acid to generate an electrophile i.e. oxo(phenyl)methylium.

Step 2: In the second step benzene undergoes electrophilic substitution reaction and adds the electrophile.

Step 3: In last step the aromaticity of benzene is restored with the elimination of proton.

boyakko [2]

Answer:

ΔSv = 0.1075 KJ/mol.K

Explanation:

Binary solution:

∴ a: solvent

∴ b: solute

in equilibrium:

  • μ*(g) = μ(l) = μ* +RTLnXa....chemical potential (μ)

⇒ Ln (1 - Xb) = ΔG/RT

∴ ΔG = ΔHv - TΔSv

⇒ Ln(1 -Xb) = ΔHv/RT - ΔSv/R

∴ Xb → 0:

⇒ Ln(1) = ΔHv/RT - ΔSv/R

∴ T = T*b....normal boiling point

⇒ 0 = ΔHv/RT*b - ΔSv/R

⇒ ΔSv = (R)(ΔHv/RT*b)

⇒ ΔSv = ΔHv/T*b

∴ T*b = 80°C ≅ 353 K

⇒ ΔSv = (38 KJ/mol)/(353 K)

⇒ ΔSv = 0.1075 KJ/mol.K

Because we classify something as a star when it is: a large ball of gas that undergoes nuclear fusion. Given this definition, a comet is not a star. A comet is a ball of ice and dirt hurtling through space, it shines only because it reflects ligh
