Answer:

=\frac {x+2}{x^2+2} is the simplest form of given expression.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given question is \frac{x^2+x-2}{x^3-x^2+2x-2}

To solve the problem we have to group or split middle term and then factorise

\frac{x^2+(2x-x)-2}{(x^3-x^2)+(2x-2)}

Taking x^2 common from first two terms of denominator and 2 from next two terms

= \frac{x^2+2x-x-2}{x^2(x-1)+2(x-1)}

Now,taking x common from first two terms of numerator and -1 from next two terms and in denominator taking(x-1) common from both terms

= \frac{ x(x+2)-1(x+2)}{(x-1)(x^2+2)}

=\frac{(x+2)(x-1)}{(x-1)(x^2+2)}

Now cancel out x-1 from both numerator and denominator we get

=\frac {x+2}{x^2+2} is the required simplest form.

A flying disc has a radius of 10 inches. What is the area of one side of the flying disc to the nearest square inch? Use 3.14 as
oksano4ka [1.4K]

<u>Answer:</u>

The area of one side of a disc is 314 square inches

<u>Explanation:</u>

Given the radius of the disc is 10 inches

The disc is in circular shape and the area of a circle is determined by

A = \pi r^2, where

A is the area and r is the radius and π = 3.14

Substituting values in the formula,

A = 3.14 \times(10)^2

A = 3.14 \times100 = 341 sq. inches

Therefore, the area of one side of a disc is 314 square inches

a rectangular room is three times as long as it is wide, and its perimeter is 80 meters. find the length of the room
Hoochie [10]
Let the width of the room be = x

Length of the room = 3x,  Since it is three times as wide

Perimeter = 80m

Perimeter = 2*(L + W) =  2*(3x + x)  = 80

2*(3x + x)  = 80

2*(4x)  = 80

8x  = 80     Divide both sides by 8

x = 80/8

x = 10,    But length = 3x,  = 3*10 = 30

Length = 30m

Theodore says 7×600 is greater than 6×7000. cristal says 7×600 is less than 6×7,000.
noname [10]

Answer:

Cristal is correct because 7 x 600 is less than 6 x 7,000.

Step-by-step explanation:

Because they are just switching the numbers 7 and 6 and 7 x 6 = 6 x 7, you have to look at the number of zeros. As you can see, 7,000 has 1 more zero than 600, so Cristal is correct. Just like I said 7 x 6 and 6 x 7 is interchangeable, so is 7 x 600 and 6 x 700, they both equal 4,200. However, 6 x 7,000 is 42,000.

Hope this helps! If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to ask me or your teacher to be sure you master the subject. Stay safe and please mark brainliest! :)
