When we compare two negative numbers the corresponding greater number is the smallest. So here, When we compare -2.3 and -1.3 since the 2.3 is greater than 1.3 negative of them will change the sign. Similarly, -2.3 will be greater than -3.3
When we represent these numbers in a number line, the numbers towards the right are greater. So draw a number line and mark these points. Greater numbers will be in the right side.
ii and iii are true because the larger the negative number is, like -2.5 compared to -1, the further it is to the left of the number line, or rather the less value it has.
An example is -5 is less than -4 because -5 has less value.
