Answer:

The original fraction is  \frac{3}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The ratio of numerator to denominator = 3 : 5

Let The numerator = 3 x

Let The denominator = 5 x

Again

If two is added to the numerator and  five is subtracted from the denominator, the new fraction reduces to four fifths.

So, \dfrac{3 x + 2}{5 x - 5} = \frac{4}{5}

Or, 5 × (3 x + 2) = 4 × (5 x - 5)

Or, 15 x + 10 = 20 x - 20

Or, 20 x - 15 x = 10 + 20

or, 5 x = 30

∴  x = \frac{30}{5}

i.e x = 6

So, The numerator = 3 × 6 = 18

And The denominator = 5 × 6 = 30

∴ Original fraction = \frac{numerator}{denominator}

Or, Original fraction = \frac{18}{30} = \frac{3}{5}

Hence, The original fraction is  \frac{3}{5}  Answer

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

A constant correlation is essentially when the points on a scatter plot do not show any type of pattern or correlation; the points are literally scattered rather randomly, which would cause the graph to neither increase nor decrease.

Meanwhile, a positive correlation means that the points on the plot follow a line with a positive slope. In other words, it increases to the right.

Thus, the answer is C.

Hope this helps!

Y=5x+2 <br> 4x-y=0<br> is (2,12) a solution of the system?
Svetach [21]

Answer:

The point (2,12) is not a solution of the system

see the explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

y=5x+2 ----> equation A

4x-y=0 ----> equation B

Solve the system by elimination

Adds equation A and equation B

y=5x+2\\4x-y=0\\------\\y+4x-y=5x+2+0\\4x=5x+2\\5x-4x=-2\\x=-2

Find the value of y

substitute the value of x in the equation A

y=5(-2)+2=-8

The solution of the system is the point (-2,-8)

The system has only one solution, because the intersection point both lines is only one point

therefore

The point (2,12) is not a solution of the system

If 4 books equals to 5 months how many books equals 15 months
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

12 months

Step-by-step explanation:

Based on the question

4 books equals to 5 months

x books equals to 15months

To determine the value of X we will have to cross multiply,it means

5x=15×4

5x=60

Divide both sides by 5

x=12

Therefore,x=12

Which means 12 books equals to 12 months
