Answer:

Time required to completely fill this container = 78.43 seconds

Explanation:

Volume of container = 4 m³

Rate of filling of container = 0.051 m³/s

We have the equation

             \texttt{Time required}=\frac{\texttt{Volume of container}}{\texttt{Rate of filling of container}}

Substituting

             \texttt{Time required}=\frac{4}{0.051}=\frac{4000}{51}=78.43 s

Time required to completely fill this container = 78.43 seconds

It takes 6 seconds for a stone to fall to the bottom of a mine shaft. how deep is the shaft
Margaret [11]
You need the kinematic equation for distance as a function of acceleration:

d = [v(initial) *t] + 0.5a*t^{2}

where a = gravitational acceleration 9.8m/s^{2}
v(initial) = starting velocity
t = time of fall

if the stone started at rest then v(initial) = 0 making the equation simply 0.5a * t^{2}

Let me know if you still need further help :)

Explain Why a flying aeroplane has more Kinetic Energy than a flying insect?
Airida [17]

Answer:

Why do insects fly so high?

Because the angle of attack is so high, a lot of momentum is transferred downward into the flow. These two features create a large amount of lift force as well as some additional drag. The important feature, however, is the lift.

Why an Aeroplane flying has kinetic

A flying aeroplane has potential energy has it flies above the ground level. And since the aeroplane is flying motion is associated with it and thus possesses kinetic energy. Hence a flying aeroplane has both potential and kinetic energ

A student exerts a force of 500 n pushing a box 10 m across the floor in 4 s. how much work does the student perform?
gregori [183]
Work = Force * distance
W = Fd

Given F = 500 N, d = 10 m
W = (500)(10)
W = 5000 J

The work done is 500 Joules. The time of 4 s is irrelevant in this case.
