Answer:

y = -2x + 3

y = -x + 10

y = 4x + 10

y = 3/2x - 2

y = -1/2x - 1

y = x + 5

y = 25x + 5

y = .99x + 1.99

y = x - 2

y = -1.50 + 1.50

y = 42x + 27

y = -1/3x - 2

*answering for 2nd time because my first got deleted. eek.

Which oddered pair is the the system of equation?
Mnenie [13.5K]

Answer:

(3, -9)

General Formulas and Concepts:

Pre-Algebra

  • Order of Operations: BPEMDAS
  • Equality Properties

Algebra I

  • Solving systems of equations using substitution/elimination
  • Solving systems of equations by graphing

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Define systems

-5x - 3y = 12

y = x - 12

Step 2: Solve for x

Substitution

  1. Substitute in y:                              -5x - 3(x - 12) = 12
  2. Distribute -3:                                 -5x - 3x + 36 = 12
  3. Combine like terms:                     -8x + 36 = 12
  4. Isolate x term:                               -8x = -24
  5. Isolate x:                                        x = 3

Step 3: Solve for y

  1. Define original equation:                    y = x - 12
  2. Substitute in x:                                     y = 3 - 12
  3. Subtract:                                               y = -9

Step 4: Graph systems

1140 was rounded to the nearest ten.
What is the upper bound?

zloy xaker [14]

Answer:

1145

Step-by-step explanation:

  • The upper bound is the smallest value that would round up to the next estimated value.

Since the number was rounded to nearest ten, the upper bound is:

  • 1145

which rounds up to 1150 which is the next estimated value greater than 1140
