The system below uses massless pulleys and ropes. The coefficient of friction is μ. Assume that M1 and M2 are sliding. Gravity i
Archy [21]

Explanation:

Using Newtons second law on each block

F = m*a

Block 1

T_{1} - u*g*M_{1} = M_{1} *a \\\\T_{1} = M_{1}*(a + u*g) ... Eq1

Block 2

T_{2} - u*g*M_{2} = M_{2} *a \\\\T_{2} = M_{2}*(a + u*g) ... Eq2

Block 3

- (T_{1} + T_{2} ) + g*M_{3} = M_{3} *a \\\\T_{1} + T_{2} = M_{3}*( -a + g) ... Eq3

Solving Eq1,2,3 simultaneously

Divide 1 and 2

\frac{T_{1} }{T_{2}} = \frac{M_{1}*(a+u*g)}{M_{2}*(a+u*g)}  \\\\\frac{T_{1} }{T_{2}} = \frac{M_{1} }{M_{2} }\\\\ T_{1} =  \frac{M_{1} *T_{2} }{M_{2} } .... Eq4

Put Eq 4 into Eq3

T_{2} = \frac{M_{3}*(g-a) }{1+\frac{M_{1} }{M_{2} } }  ...Eq5

Put Eq 5 into Eq2 and solve for a

a = \frac{M_{3}*g -u*g*(M_{1} + M_{2}) }{M_{1} + M_{2} + M_{3} }  .... Eq6

Substitute back in Eq2 and use Eq4 and solve for T2 & T1

T_{2} = M_{2}*M_{3}*g*(\frac{1-u}{M_{1} + M_{2}+M_{3}})\\\\T_{1} = M_{1}*M_{3}*g*(\frac{1-u}{M_{1} + M_{2}+M_{3}})\\\\

What helps offset the ion diffusion through leak channels on neurons and helps return the membrane potential to its resting volt
Blizzard [7]

Explanation:

Resting potential is the static membrane potential of the dormant cells. It is opposite of the action potential or the graded membrane potential. Na+/K+ ATPase pumps helps offset the ion diffusion through leak channels on neurons and helps return the membrane potential to its resting voltage.

All objects in the universe radiate some form of energy.<br> a. True<br> b. False
Harrizon [31]

That's true.  The only way to stop an object from radiating energy
is to cool it to absolute zero.  Since the temperature of space is
roughly 3 degrees above absolute zero, the atoms or molecules
of every object have some kinetic energy, and the object radiates
some heat.

Of course it also absorbs heat at the same time, mostly from the
huge number of stars shining on it.

When a beta minus decay occurs in an unstable nucleus, what happens to the atomic number of the nucleus?The atomic number increa
WITCHER [35]

Answer:

The atomic number increases by 1.

Explanation:

The beta minus decay is a process in which a neutron decays into a proton, emitting an electron and an anti-neutrino:

n \rightarrow p + e + \bar{\nu}

If this process occurs inside an unstable nucleus, we notice that:

- a neutron is converted into a proton, therefore

- the number of neutrons decreases by 1 and the number of protons increases by 1

Keep in mind that the atomic number of a nucleus corresponds to the number of protons it contains: therefore, since this number increases by 1, then the atomic number increases by 1.
