The intensity of a light in a surface follows the inverse square law formula which can be mathematically expressed as,
                         I = k/d²
where I is intensity, d is distance, and k is the proportionality constant. For us to increase the intensity, we should lower the distance from the source to the surface.

What would the charge of an atom be if it has six protons and six electrons
disa [49]
Carbon atom showing 6 protons as electro positive charge in its nuclei should have same no of -ve charged electrons , that is 6 electronns in its radii to make an atom of C as a neutral element , for that each element in its atomic state should have equal no of protons and electrons , the no of neutrons which has no electric charge and almost negligible weight does play significant role except contributes to isotopes of the given atom or an element, so C atom having 6 protons should have 6 electrons

Threshold potential refers to the membrane potential required to:
ivanzaharov [21]

B. initiate an action potential.

Action potentials are initiated when a depolarization reaches a threshold potential. This threshold potential varies, but is normally around 55 or 50 millivolts above the resting potential of the cell, which implies that the input current of sodium ions exceeds the output current of potassium ions.

A 2kg book is held against a vertical wall. The coefficient of friction is 0.45. What is the minimum force that must be applied
Vika [28.1K]

We have that for the Question "A 2kg book is held against a vertical wall. The coefficient of friction is 0.45. What is the minimum force that must be applied on the book, perpendicular to the wall, to prevent the book from slipping down the wal" it can be said that the minimum force that must be applied on the book is

  • F=44N

From the question we are told

A 2kg book is held against a vertical wall. The coefficient of friction is 0.45. What is the minimum force that must be applied on the book, perpendicular to the wall, to prevent the book from slipping down the wal

Generally the equation for the Force is mathematically given as

F=\frac{mg}{\mu}\\\\F=\frac{2*9.8}{0.45}\\\\

F=44N

Therefore

the minimum force that must be applied on the book is

F=44N
