27=6x+3(-3x+15) can you help me with the steps

Mathematics
1 answer:
babymother [125]4 years ago
3 0
First your going to distribute the 3
3(-3x+15)
-9x+45
27=6x-9x+15
27=-3x+15
Then you’ll minus 15 from 27
27-15=12
12=3x
X=4

slavikrds [6]
\dfrac{ 5n^2(m^2+2m-3)}{10n(m^2-3m+2)} \div  \dfrac{n^2(m^2-3m-18)}{4n^2(m^2-8m+12)}

A metallurgist has an alloy with 5% titanium and an alloy with 30% titanium. He needs 100 grams of an alloy with 15% titanium. H
andrey2020 [161]
Let us convert the percentages to decimal format first.. so 5% is just 5/100 or 0.05 and 15% is just 15/100 or 0.15

so hmmm, so, let's say it needs "x" amount and "y" amount of each respectively, so, whatever "x" and "y" are, they must add up to 100, and whatever their concentration is, must add up to what the mixture yields

thus

\bf \begin{array}{lccclll}&#10;&amount&concentration&&#10;\begin{array}{llll}&#10;concentrated\\&#10;amount&#10;\end{array}\\&#10;&-----&-------&-------\\&#10;\textit{5\% alloy}&x&0.05&0.05x\\&#10;\textit{30\% alloy}&y&0.30&0.3y\\&#10;-----&-----&-------&-------\\&#10;mixture&100&0.15&15&#10;\end{array}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;\begin{cases}&#10;x+y=100\implies \boxed{y}=100-x\\&#10;0.05x+0.3y=15\\&#10;----------\\&#10;0.5x+0.3\left( \boxed{100-x} \right)=15&#10;\end{cases}

solve for "x"

what's "y"? well, y = 100 - x

kvv77 [185]

Answer:

504 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

you would do 756÷12 which equals 63.... For every hour that you drive its 63 miles. Then you do 63×8 to get 504

Sums of a sequence: How many total gifts did my true love give to me during the entire 12 days of Christmas? Hint: Without any o
ale4655 [162]
<span> On the first day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
A partridge in a pear tree. On the second day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree. On the third day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree. </span>

The song continues, adding 4 calling birds on the 4th day, 5 golden rings on the 5th, and so on up to the 12th day, when 12 drummers add to the cacophony of assorted birds, pipers and lords leaping all over the place.

Notice that on each day there is one partridge (so I will have 12 partridges by the 12th day), and each day from the second day onwards there are 2 doves (so I will have 22 doves), and from the 3rd there are 3 hens (total of 30 hens), and so on.

So, how many presents are there altogether?

Partridges: 1 × 12 = 12

Doves: 2 × 11 = 22

Hens 3 × 10 = 30

Calling birds: 4 × 9 = 36

Golden rings: 5 × 8 = 40

Geese: 6 × 7 = 42

Swans: 7 × 6 = 42

Maids: 8 × 5 = 40

Ladies: 9 × 4 = 36

Lords: 10 × 3 = 30

Pipers: 11 × 2 = 22

Drummers: 12 × 1 = 12

Total = 364

We observe that we have the same number of partridges as drummers (12 of each); doves and pipers (22 of each); hens and lords (30 of each) and so on. So the easiest way to count our presents is to add up to the middle of the list and then double the result: (12 + 22 + 30 + 36 + 40 + 42) × 2 = 364.
