The answer is D
Friction acts as a centripetal force in the case of a car turning. The friction creates a tangential force allowing the car to turn.
Tension can act as a centripetal force in the case of circles. Such as swinging a mass on a string, the tension force allows it to move in a curved path.
Gravity acts as a centripetal force in the case of satellites. The gravity keeps the satellite within the orbit.

A new roller coaster contains a loop-the-loop in which the car and rider are completely upside down. If the radius of the loop i
Oduvanchick [21]

To solve this problem it is necessary to apply the concepts based on Newton's second law and the Centripetal Force.

That is to say,

F_c = F_w

Where,

F_c =Centripetal Force

F_w =Weight Force

Expanding the terms we have to,

mg = \frac{mv^2}{r}

gr = v^2

v = \sqrt{gr}

Where,

r = Radius

g = Gravity

v = Velocity

Replacing with our values we have

v = \sqrt{(9.8)(11.8)}

v = 10.75m/s

Therefore the minimum speed must the car traverse the loop so that the rider does not fall out while upside down at the top is 10.75m/s

The index of refraction for red light in water is 1.331 and that for blue light is 1.340. If a ray of white light enters the wat
kobusy [5.1K]

Answer:

Angle of refraction for red light is 43.01^{\circ}

Angle of refraction for blue light is  42.68^{\circ}

Explanation:

It is given refractive index for red light is \mu _{red}=1.331

Refractive index of blue light \mu _{blue}=1.340

Angle of incidence i=65.30^{\circ}

According to law of refraction \mu =\frac{sini}{sinr}

For red light 1.331 =\frac{sin65.30^{\circ}}{sinr}

1.331 =\frac{0.908}{sinr}

sinr=0.682

r=43.01^{\circ}

Therefore angle of refraction for red light is 43.01^{\circ}

Similarly for blue light 1.340 =\frac{sin65.30^{\circ}}{sinr}

1.340 =\frac{0.908}{sinr}

sinr=0.677

r = 42.68^{\circ}

Therefore angle of refraction for blue light is  42.68^{\circ}

What happens too baking soda when you heat it up?
Fantom [35]
Salutations!

What happens to baking soda when you heat it up!

When you heat up baking soda, it loses carbon dioxide which tends to crest bubbles. This is what makes it quite light and fluffy.

Hope I helped :D
