Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

This is something you learn in Geometry.  Gotta love Geometry and all of its hundreds of rules for triangles and circles and all that good stuff!!

The rule for similar figures is

ratio of perimeter (one-to-one)-->area (square the one-to-one)-->volume (cube the one-to-one).

We are given area.  You CANNOT CUBE THE AREA MEASURES TO GET TO THE VOLUME!! You have to find the one-to-one first and then go forward from there.

If the area is the one-to-one squared, then

\frac{\sqrt{9} }{\sqrt{4} }=\frac{3}{2}

The one-to-one is 3:2.  To get to the volume now, cube those one-to-one values:

\frac{3^3}{2^3}=\frac{27}{8}

The ratio of the number of songs Brody bought to the number of songs Jayliah bought is 2:3. The ratio of the number of songs Jay
weqwewe [10]

Answer:

Brody purchased 16 songs.

Step-by-step explanation:

Ratio of the number of songs purchased by Brody(B) and Jayliah(J) = 2 : 3

\frac{B}{J}=\frac{2}{3} ------(1)

Similarly ratio of the songs purchased by Jayliah(J) and Sadie(S) = 4 : 5

\frac{J}{S}=\frac{4}{5} -------(2)

If Sadie bought the songs (S) = 30

From equation (2),

\frac{J}{30}=\frac{4}{5}

J = \frac{4\times 30}{5}

J = 24

By substituting the value J = 24 in equation (1),

\frac{B}{24}= \frac{2}{3}

B = \frac{2\times 24}{3}

B = 16

Therefore, number of songs purchased by Brody = 16.

Round to the nearest hundredth if so. Use 3.14 as pi <br>8. r=<br> d =<br> C=78.8 ft
Kryger [21]

Answer: The radius is 12.54 feet, and the diameter is 25.08 feet.

Explanation: By applying the circumference into the equation r = \frac{C}{2\pi }, we get r = \frac{78.8}{2\pi }which simplifies the radius. And since radius is half of diameter, we multiply by 2 to get the diameter as well to solve the other blank in the problem.

Hope this helps! :D

which of the following is an experiment,? A. Rolling a pair die. B.Rolling two pair dice twice. C.Tossing a coin. D.None of thes
sergejj [24]

Step-by-step explanation:

Hint : we will check for each option whether it is an experiment or not by using the concepts of probability first we will check then if a coin is tossed then it is an experiment or not ? then we will check that if a dice is rolled is it an experiment or not and then we will repeat the same process for choosing a marble from a jar

complete step by step answer and event is a set of outcomes of an experiment to which probability is assigned as take an example when we and I the possibility of 5 appearing on the die is an event if for tossing a coin we do not know the result when a coin is tossed in can give any result whether it will be a head or tails so this is an example for a random experiment if a six-sided dice will be rolled then we do not know what is about to come there result can be anything from 126 so it is also an example for random experiment choosing a marble from a jar is also an experiment because we are choosing one marble from the jar and experiment is a work in which a result can be anything hence option d is the correct option not probability is how likely something is about to happen when a coin is tossed there are two possibility outcomes heads or tails show the probability of an outcome 1

( number of ways it can happen )÷

( total number of outcomes)

so when a coin is tossed the total number of outcomes are to solve the probability of a current head is 1/2

Jonathan’s class has 30 boys. Of the students in his class, 60% are girls. How many girls are in Jonathan’s class?
raketka [301]

Answer:

45 girls

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Remark
  • There are only 2 choices for gender. So if the class is 60% girls, the there must be 100 - 60 = 40% for the boys.
  • But we are told that the boys are 30 in number.
  • Let x = the total number of students.

Solution

  • 40/100 * x = 30              Change the % to a decimal
  • 0.4 x = 30                       Divide both sides by 0.4
  • 0.4 x / 0.4 = 30 / 0.4      Do the division
  • x = 30/0.4
  • x = 75 students in total

Formula

Total of Boys and Girls = Number of boys + number of girls.

Givens

  • Total = 75
  • Number of boys = 30

Solution II

  • 75 = x + 30                 Subtract 30 from each side
  • 75 - 30 = x +30 - 30
  • 45 = x
  • There are 45 girls in the class.
