One day without sleep can make you irritable and tired as well as affect memory. However, days without sleep will do damage mentally and physically. after about 2 days there will be poor reflexes, poor decision making, and poor quality of work. Memory is worse off at this point and you will fee disorented. After 3 days there is the chance of delusions, hallucinations, and inability to handle any stressor. Eventually your organs will seize to function and your heart will give out. Longest known time gone without sleep though? 11 days and 25 minutes. I don't recommend trying to stay awake. :) hope his helps.
