What is the relationship between power and voltage
FrozenT [24]

Answer

Voltage is how fast the electrons flow. Power is a use of voltage times the volumes of electrons. The higher the voltage the more power you have with the same current.

An artillery shell is launched on a flat, horizontal field at an angle of α = 40.8° with respect to the horizontal and with an i
Lina20 [59]

Answer:

1317.4 m

Explanation:

We are given that

Angle=\alpha=40.8^{\circ}

Initial speed =v_0=346m/s

We have to find the horizontal distance covered by the shell after 5.03 s.

Horizontal component of initial speed=v_{ox}=v_0cos\theta=346cos40.8=261.9m/s

Vertical component of initial speed=v_{oy}=346sin40.8=226.1m/s

Time=t=5.03 s

Horizontal distance =Horizontal\;velocity\times time

Using the  formula

Horizontal distance=261.9\times 5.03

Horizontal distance=1317.4 m

Hence, the horizontal distance covered by the shell=1317.4 m

What does Electromagnetic induction mean?
mina [271]

Answer:

Electromagnetic introduction is the production of an electromotive force (voltage) across an electrical conductor in a changing magnetic field.

  • Step up transformers is a transformer in which the output (secondary) voltage is greater than its input (primary) voltage is called a step-up transformer. The step-up transformer decreases the output current for keeping the input and output power of the system equal.

  • Step down transformer is a transformer in which the output (secondary) voltage is less than its input (primary) voltage is called a step-down transformer. The number of turns on the primary of the transformer is greater than the turn on the secondary of the transformer.

The difference between them:

A transformer is a static device which transfers a.c electrical power from one circuit to the other at the same frequency, but the voltage level is usually changed. For economical reasons, electric power is required to be transmitted at high voltage whereas it has to be utilized at low voltage from a safety point of view. This increase in voltage for transmission and decrease in voltage for utilization can only be achieved by using a step-up and step-down transformer.

Hopefully this helped.

A 1300-kg car initially has a velocity of 22.2 m/s due south. It brakes to a stop over a 180 m distance.
Vaselesa [24]
The acceleration of the object which moves from an initial step to a full halt given the distance traveled can be calculated through the equation,
                                     d = v² / 2a
where d is distance, v is the velocity, and a is acceleration
Substituting the known values,
                                     180 = (22.2 m/s)² / 2(a)
The value of a is equal to 1.369 m/s²
The force needed for the object to be stopped is equal to the product of the mass and the acceleration.
                                      F = (1300 kg)(1.369 m/s²)
                                            F = 1779.7 N
