Answer:

N=3176.5rulling

Explanation:

We were told that the source containing a mixture of hydrogen and deuterium atoms emits light with

wavelengths whose mean is 540 nm

Then λ= 540 nm, but we need to convert to metre which = (540× 10⁻⁹m)

Also whose separation is 0.170 nm, which mean the difference between the wavelength is 0.170 nm then

Δ λ = 0.170 nm the we convert to metre we have. Δλ= 0.170 nm= (0.170×10⁻⁹m)

the formular below can be used to can be used to calculate our minimum number of lines

N= λ /(m Δλ)

Where N is number of fillings i.e number of lines

λ= wavelength

Δλ= difference in wavelength

m=1

Then if we substitute the values we have

,N= (540× 10⁻⁹ m)/[(1)*(0.170× 10⁻⁹m)]

N =3176.5rulling

Therefore, minimum number of lines = =3176.5rulling

Ten students stand in a circle and are told to make a transverse wave. What best describes the motion of the students? Each stud
Bond [772]

Lifting hands and the down by one student at a time best describe the presentation of the transverse wave by students. Option D is correct.

<h3>What is a Transverse wave?</h3>
  • The wave in which the oscillation of particles is is perpendicular to the direction of energy transfer.

  • The students can make a transverse wave by raising their hands up and then down, one student at a time.

  • The raised hand represents the oscillation of particles while the sequence of the raising hand represents the direction of energy transfer.

Therefore, lifting hands and the down by one student at a time best describe the presentation of the transverse wave by students.

At the equator, the radius of the Earth is approximately 6370 km. A plane flies at a very low altitude at a constant speed of v
Cerrena [4.2K]

To solve this problem we will apply the concepts related to the kinematic equations of linear motion. From there we will define the distance as the circumference of the earth (approximate as a sphere). With the speed given in the statement we will simply clear the equations below and find the time.

R= 6370*10^3 m

v = 239m/s

a = 16.5m/s^2

The circumference of the earth would be

\phi = 2\pi R

Velocity is defined as,

v = \frac{x}{t}

t = \frac{x}{v}

Here x = \phi, then

t = \frac{\phi}{v} = \frac{2\pi (6370*10^3)}{239}

t = 167463.97s

Therefore will take 167463.97 s or 1 day 22 hours 31 minutes and 3.97seconds
