Let first number be n,
consecutive number is n+1
2n + (n+1) = 52
3n +1 = 52
n = 17
consecutive number is 18

The two consecutive numbers are 17 and 18. Based on the condition above, twice the smaller number added to the greater number sums up to 52. Thus, the equation is: 17*2 + 18 = 52. 17 multiplied by 2 is 34. 18 added to 34 is equal to 52. I hope this helps.

The length of the observable universe is.
alekssr [168]

Answer:

Kindly check explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Organizations like NASA who explore space and planets often have to deal with measurement of very long distances such as the one stated above. The Major challenge with the distance written in the format expressed above is the difficulty to read, state or use in mathematical calculations as it is too explicit. A more effective method is to express this distance in standard format and more suitable long distant units such as miles.

For instance;

880,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilometers could be expressed as in standard form as ;

8.8 * 10^23 km

Find measure of side AB round to nearest tenth
vova2212 [387]
Use:

|AB|^2=|AC|^2+|BC|^2-2|AC||BC|\cos(m\angle ACB)

We have:

|AC|=13;\ |BC|=29;\ m\angle ACB=41^o

\cos41^o\approx0.7547

substitute:

|AB|^2=13^2+29^6-2\cdot13\cdot29\cdot0.7547\\\\|AB|^2=440.9562\\\\|AB|\approx21
