I think it is 3.5
if 8 is divided by 4, you get two since they are the same shape, 14 should be divided by 4 as well which is 3.5

What is the solution to this inequality?
Reptile [31]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply both sides by 12 to get x+36<_84.

Then move the constant to the right to get x by itself: x<_84-36

Subtract 36 from 84 to get 48.

Now you're left with x<_48

btw <_ is less than or greater than i just don't know how to place the sign on top of the underscore :/ hope this helped :)

Express the confidence interval 0.319 < p < 0.488 in the form of p ± E.
KengaRu [80]

Answer:

0.4035+/-0.0845

Step-by-step explanation:

The fundamental step would be to determine the values of p and E which i believe is the margin of error in this case. Consider the following two equations;

p-E=0.319\\p+E=0.488

We simply add the two equations and solve for p;

2p=0.807\\p=0.4035

We then substitute this value of p in either equation and solve for E;

0.4035-E=0.319\\E=0.0845

Since we have both p and E, the confidence interval can thus be written as;

0.4035+/-0.0845
