Answer:

<h2><em><u>11.2 - B to C </u></em></h2><h2><em><u>12 - B to A </u></em></h2><h2><em><u>8.8 - A to C </u></em></h2>

You have to multiply all the sides by 4.

B to C = 2.8*4

2.8 * 4 = 11.2

B to A = 3*4

3*4 = 12

A to C = 2.2*4

2.2*4 = 8.8

Hope this helped!

Which of these graphs represent a function?
melomori [17]

Answer:

C.)

Step-by-step explanation:

There are multiple technical ways to explain this but the best one that works for me is the "vertical line test" can be used to find a function or non function. All you have to do is position your pencil vertically, place it to the far left of the graph drag it horizontally across to the right side of the graph. If your pencil is making contact with two lines at one time, it is NOT a function.  Hopefully this makes sense.

Jill and Lori each walk in a straight line between two points. Using the points on a map they created, Jill will start at (–2,–4
Olenka [21]
We develop the equation for each of the tracks that will be walked through by Jill and Lori.
                   Jill:  y - 2 = ((2 - -4)/(4 - -2))(x - 4) ;   y = x - 2
                   Lori: y - 6 = ((-4 - 6)/(4 - -1))(x + 1);   y = -2x + 4
The intersection of these equation is (2,0).

Can someone solve point-slope lines and show work? I’m confused
Bad White [126]

Answer:

Option (2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Equation of a line passing through a point (x', y') and slope 'm' is given by,

y - y' = m(x - x')

From the question in the picture attached,

Slope of the line 'm' = -\frac{7}{10}

Line passes through a point (80, -71).

Equation of the line will be,

y + 71 = -\frac{7}{10}(x-80)

y = -\frac{7}{10}x+56-71

y = -\frac{7}{10}x-15

Option (2) will be the answer.

A town's population increases in one year from 50,000 to 58,000. If the population is growing linearly, at a steady rate, the
jolli1 [7]

Answer:

66,000

Step-by-step explanation:

If a relation is linear, then for equal changes in x there are equal changes in y. If in 1 year the population increases by 8,000, then in any 1-year period, the population will also increase 8,000. The population started at 50,000. In 1 year, it became 50,000 + 8,000 = 58,000. At the end of the second year, it will have increased by another 8,000. 58,000 + 8,000 = 66,000.

Given g(x) √x-4 and h(x) = 2x - 8
RoseWind [281]

Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : g(x) =   and h(x)=2x-8.

g*h(x) =(2x-8).

We have square root(x-6) in composite function f*h(x).

So, we need to find the domain, we need to check for that values of x's, square root(x-4\6) would be defined.

Square roots are undefined for negative values.

Therefore, we can setup an inequality for it's domain x-6≥0.

Adding 4 on both sides, we get

x-6+6≥0+6.

x≥6.
