New Mexico's role in the international water agreement between the U.S. and Mexico:

America and Mexico start sharing Colorado River Waters and Grande River under bi-national agreements.

The problem and value of limited water sharing are growing water demands and reduced supply arising out of shortage and air temperatures.

Until arriving in Mexico, the Colorado River passes seven US states; 97% of its drainage is located in the USA. America is mandated by the Water Treaty in 1944 to provide Colorado River water to Mexico annually for one and a half million acres.

Two different systems govern the Rio Grande. Throughout the north-western part of the common basin, shipments to Mexico take place under a 1906 Agreement, and south-eastern shipments are set aside in the Water Agreement of 1944.

What issues led congress to pass the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986?
mario62 [17]

Answer:

The last time Congress enacted sweeping immigration reform was back in 1986. That bill, signed by Ronald Reagan, looked a lot like the proposals being put forward today. There was a path to citizenship for existing illegal immigrants, coupled with tighter border enforcement.

Why did President Wilson believe that harsh punishment for Germany was not a
good idea?
Alika [10]

Answer:

President Wilson was convinced that although Germany had to pay for the destruction they did, it was not wide to cripple the German economy and to humiliate them even more as this could very well lead for another future war or a conflict.

This is mainly because the treaty of vesrailes made Germany pay more than 6 billion pounds as reparations and they lost many territories, including their overseas colonies.
