Answer:

C. NAD⁺

Step-by-step explanation:

NADH is oxidized to NAD⁺ in Complex I of the Electron Transport Chain.

NADH ⟶ NAD⁺ + H⁺ + 2e⁻

The electrons continue through the Electron Transport Chain, and the NAD⁺ is used in three places during the Krebs Cycle.

(a) Isocitrate to oxalosuccinate

Isocitrate + NAD⁺ ⟶ oxalosuccinate + NADH + H⁺

(b) α-Ketoglutarate to succinyl-CoA

α-ketoglutarate + NAD+ + CoA → succinyl CoA + CO₂ + NADH

(c) Malate to oxaloacetate

Malate + NAD⁺  ⟶ oxaloacetate + NADH + H⁺

The NADH produced by these three reactions can then be used by Complex I in the Electron Transport Chain.

Basic info:

The Krebs cycle, the electron transport chain and respiration (aerobic) are closely related, in fact, the Krebs cycle is part of cellular respiration.

Further info (detailed):

In anaerobic respiration we obtain oxygen, which functions as an electron acceptor in the electron transport chain, which produces NAD+ that is later used in the Krebs cycle to produce NADH and FADH2 that are used as electron carryiers in the ETC.

But, what does the ETC actually do? Why is it so important?

In the ETC, basic substances are produced -  water, ATP and NAD/FAD.

The water and the ATP will be used in many random processes, but the NAD and the FAD are for the Krebs cycle (also glycolysis). During the Krebs cycle, NAD and FAD are used mainly for oxidizing acetyl-CoA to generate energy in the form of NADH and FADH2.

Why does the energy produced by the Krebs cycle come in the form of NADH and FADH2?

Beacuse during the oxidisation of acetyl-CoA (and others) both NAD and FAD react with H+.

Hope it helped,

Based on the predictions of metapopulation biology, which scenario can be expected to exhibit the largest fraction of occupied h
harkovskaia [24]

Meta-population is the patchiness of population in space and its role is dynamic, population insatiability, coexistence of species, the maintenance of diversity.

Metapopulation is colonization and extinction dynamics. The variable of prime concern is the proportion. As the population largest approaches the environment carrying resources become more scare and growth rate slows.

The m maxima carrying number of species in environment can support indefinitely .A group of spatially separated population of similar organism which interact at some levels. It s population in which multiple populations as butterflies and cool reef fishes.Humans are evolved from multiple interconnected spread out across Africa in large meta-population.

Which formations was created by wind desposition
Neporo4naja [7]

In deserts, wind picks up small particles and leaves behind larger rocks to form desert pavement. Moving sand may sand blast rocks and other features to create ventifacts. The sand is transported until it is deposited in a sand dune.

A positive feedback loop, where the product signals for the production of more reactant, is maintained homeostasis.
OleMash [197]

False

Homeostasis is defined as the process of resisting change in order to maintain a stable environment. It typically involves negative feedback loops as these loops prohibits the change to occur in the human body system and maintain a constant internal environment. While positive feedback is the process of amplifying the stimulus produced within the body.

Homeostasis is thus regulated by negative feedback loops and rearely regulated by the positive feedback loops.
