The answer is C

It is easiest to envision why if you imagine the alleles in a 2x2 grid. The homozygous alleles outside the grid along the top, (BB), and the heterozygous ones along the left hand side, (Bb). If you take each allele to the two boxes aligned with it in the grid, you will be left with two BB combinations and two Bb combinations. This is a probability of 2 out of four or 1 out of 2 on the gamete produced being heterozygous.

Answer:

C.1 out of 2

Explanation:

The probability of the organism producing a gamete with one dominant allele and one recessive allele for these trait is 2 out of 4 which can be further reduced to 1 out of 2.

For a cross between Homozygous and heterozygous individual we will get 2 homozygous and 2 hetrerozygous individual. The heterozygous individual has one homozygous allele and one heterozygous allele

Lipids are good for making the cell membrane because they are stronger and block out things that should not be getting in out, for instance lipids mainly only let water and gases pass through.

If a plant takes in 6 CO2 molecules and 6 H2O molecules in order to build one C6H12O6 molecule, what element will the plant have
lora16 [44]

Answer:

Oxygen (O2)

Explanation:

This question is describing photosynthesis which uses carbon dioxide and water as reactants in the presence of sunlight to synthesize sugar (glucose) and oxygen. The general equation is as follows:

6CO2 + 6H2O ---> C6H12O6 + 6O2

According to this question, a plant takes in 6CO2 molecules and 6H2O molecules in order to build one C6H12O6 molecule. Using the balanced equation above, the extra element is OXYGEN, which still needs to be released as a gas for the equation to be balanced i.e 6O2 molecules
