Well this is simple all you have to do is subtract 6 dollars from 35 lets do that first
35 - 6 = 29
so she has 29 dollars to spend on each friend and she only has two....
so lets divide 29 and 2
29/2 = 14.5
so she can spend $14.50 on each of her friends:)

What is the measurement of a cube’s side with a surface area of 1,350 square feet?
liq [111]
To solve this, we would divided 1,350 by 6, because the cube has 6 sides and the number 1,350 represents all 6 sides added together. 1,350/6 = 225. Therefore, the answer is 225 ft

Identify the hyperbolas (represented by equations) whose centers are at (2, 1)
weqwewe [10]
When the transverse axis is horizontal, a hyperbola centered at (h,k) has formula (x-h)^2/a^2-(y-k)^2/b^2=1. Plug in h=2, k=1, the formula is (x-2)^2/a^2-(y-1)^2/b^2=1 for some a,b. If the transverse axis is vertical, the formula is (y-h)^2/a^2-(x-k)^2/b^2=1, and (y-2)^2/a^2-(x-1)^2/b^2=1 in our case.

A parallelogram has one angle that measures 50°. What are the measures of the other three angles in the parallelogram?
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

130°, 50°, 130°

Step-by-step explanation:

Two opposite angles of parallelogram are always congruent, so the measure of angle opposite to the angle 50° is 50° too.

Two consecutive angles of parallelogram always are supplementary (add up to 180°), so the angle consecutive to the angle 50° has the measure of

180° - 50° = 130°

Angle opposit to 130° angle has the measure of 130° too.

One year, Mr James travels 8 x 10^3 miles for his job. The next year he traveled 1 x 10^4 miles. How many more miles did he trav
nignag [31]

Answer:

2 000 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

In the first year, Mr James travels 8 x 10^{3} miles = 8 000 miles.

The second year, he traveled 1 x 10^{4} miles = 10 000 miles.

Comparing the distance covered in the two years,

10 000 miles - 8 000 miles = 2 000 miles

Therefore, Mr James travels 2 000 more miles in the second year than he did the first year.

Let's assume that Mr James conveys himself to his place of work all through the first year in his private car. But in the second year, there were some days in which the car was not available. So he had to go for his job by public transportation. This itch during those days, could cause an increase in the distance covered from his home to his place of work for the second year.
