victus00 [196]

Answer:

D. Transport of oxygen through a placenta to a fetus.

Explanation:

Zygotes are fertilized egg cell, zygotes aren't produced in the ovaries but ovums or egg cells are produced in the ovaries. So option A is false.

Fertilization is internal not external in human. Option B is wrong.

Production of milk happens in the mammary gland (the breast) not in the reproductive system. Option C is false.

professor190 [17]

There are two types of succession that lead to the increasment of the ecosystem:

Primary succession is the change in the structure of an ecosystem represented with the increase of the ecological community on an area that has not been previously occupied by an ecological community such as area after the lava flow or glacial lake. The first organisms of primary succession are pioneer plants usually, lichens and mosses.

When a phosphate bond is hydrolyzed, energy is released. the remaining adp is at a higher or lower energy state?
Eduardwww [97]
Answer:
The remaining ADP is at lower energy state.

Explanation:
ATP contain three phisphate bond. These phosphate groups form phosphodiester bond. Hydrolysis of each phosphate bond release about 7.3 Kcal of energy and one ADP. Now this ADP contain only one bond between phosphate group.

Result:
It is clered from the discussion that ADP is at lower energy level as compared to ATP due to less bond between phosphate group.
