Reduce the diagonals by the same number if there are any. So 2 and 7 have no common multiple so dont do anything. 20 and 4, divided by 4 gives u 5 and 1. Then multiply the top w top and bottom w bottom. Whicch is 2/5 and 1/7 then u multiply so 2/35=answer

1. a triangle has the base of 5/3x and the height of x<br> how do i work this equation
sashaice [31]

Answer:

                    Area  = 5/6 * x^2

Step-by-step explanation:

If you are given the base and height of a certain triangle, you will most likely be asked to find the area

The area of any triangle can be found by

Area  = base*height * (1/2)

In your case

Area = (5/3)*x*x* (1/2) = 5/6 * x^2

In your case, x should be a known parameter of your triangle, so if you have the value of the height, you should be able to find the area. Or conversely, if you have the area, you can find the length and height of your triangle.

The profit earned by a hot dog stand is a linear function of the number of hot dogs sold. It costs the owner $48 dollars each mo
Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

y=2x-48

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

y -----> the profit earned by the hot dog stand daily

x ----> the number of hot dogs sold

we know that

The linear equation that represent this problem is equal to

y=2x-48

This is the equation of the line into slope intercept form

where

m=2\frac{\$}{hot\ dog} ----> is the slope

b=-\$48 ---> is the y-intercept (cost of the day's supply)
