Calcium carbonate is CaCO3.
So there is calcium, symbol is Ca and an atomic number of 20.
Carbon: symbol is C and an atomic number of 6.
Oxygen: symbol is O and an atomic number of 8.
In one molecule of CaCO3, there is one atom of Ca, one atom of C, and three atoms of O as shown by the subscript next to O in the formula. There are no other subscripts to indicate more than one atom of the other elements, so there is only one atom of the other two elements

If we increase the temperature of the reaction that occurs in plants to create sugar. What direction does the equilibrium shift.
maxonik [38]

The reaction used to produce sugar in plants is Photosynthesis,

6CO₂ + 6H₂O + heat ⇆ C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂↑

we can see that this reaction is endothermic, it absorbs heat to occur

If we were to add more heat or increase the temperature, the left side of the equilibrium will be able to react much more, which would produce more glucose (aka sugar)

Hence increasing the temperature will shift the equilibrium to the right or towards the Products

Solutions with low pH values have which of these properties?
telo118 [61]

Answer:

The correct option is C.

Solutions with low pH values have sour taste.

Explanation:

Low pH value show acidic property which can be define as , -log of conc. of hydrogen ion.

Acid has following properties

  • Sour taste
  • Turn blue litmus into red
  • corrosive

-OH group: Base have OH groups. So it is not correct option so it not correct for low pH i.e. acid

turns litmus paper blue: Base turn red litmus into blue, so it not correct for low pH i.e. acid

feels slippery: Bases are mostly slippery like soap

tastes sour: Sour taste is for acid and bitter taste is for base. So it is correct option for acid
