Answer:

pH at the equivalence point for titration of HF and HCl will be basic and neutral respectively.

Explanation:

pH at equivalence point depends on hydrolysis equilibrium of conjugated base present in mixture.

\Rightarrow Neutralization reaction: HF+OH^{-}\rightleftharpoons F^{-}+H_{2}O

    Hence, at equilibrium, F^{-} is present in mixture.

    Hydrolysis reaction: F^{-}+H_{2}O\rightleftharpoons HF+OH^{-}

Here HF is an weak acid and OH^{-} is a strong base, So, resultant pH of the           solution will be basic.

\Rightarrow Neutralization reaction: HCl+OH^{-}\rightleftharpoons Cl^{-}+H_{2}O

    Hence, at equilibrium, Cl^{-} is present in mixture.

    Hydrolysis reaction: Cl^{-}+H_{2}O\rightleftharpoons HCl+OH^{-}

Here HCl is a strong acid and OH^{-} is a strong base, So, resultant pH of the           solution will be neutral.

To prevent tank rupture during deep-space travel, an engineering team is studying the effect of temperature on gases confined to
uranmaximum [27]

Answer: 63.88 atm

Explanation:

To answer this, we use the formula PV = nRT since the asumption is that the gas has an ideal behavior

where number of mole = 2.60 mol, R(gas constant) = 0.08205746 L atm/K mol,

T = 251 ∘C = (251 + 273) K = 524 K, Volume = 1.75 L

Making Pressure the subject of the formula, we have

P = nRT/V = 2.6 * 0.08205746 * 524/2.75 = 63.88 atm

1. What is an isomer? How many possible isomers of hexane are there? What are the structural differences between these isomers?
UNO [17]
When two compounds have same molecular formula but different structural formula, they are said to be isomers of each other and this phenomenon is called as isomerism.

Hexane has six isomers.

The isomers of hexane have a difference in their structure due to parent chain length (chain isomerism). They are also differentiated on the basis of straight chain as in n-hexane and branched chain as in remaining five. Structures along with names are shown below.

how can you find the common denominator and least commom denominator?? Help and thx i accedentaly clicked on the wrong subject
Marianna [84]

Common denominator - Find the Least Common Multiple of the denominators (which is called the Least Common Denominator).

Change each fraction (using equivalent fractions) to make their denominators the same as the least common denominator.

Then add (or subtract) the fractions, as we wish!

Least common denominator - You do the same thing for the common denominator
