Answer:

Standard conditions of temperature and pressure for a thermochemical equation are 0°C and 101 kPa.

Explanation:

<u><em>The complete question is with options, as follows: </em></u>

<u><em>"Standard conditions of temperature and pressure for a thermochemical equation are _____. </em></u>

<u><em>0C and 101 kPa. </em></u>

<u><em> 25C and 101 kPa. </em></u>

<u><em> 0C and 0 kPa. </em></u>

<u><em> 25C and 22.4 kPa."</em></u>

The STP conditions refer to the standard temperature and pressure. Pressure values at 1 atmosphere and temperature at 0 ° C are used and are reference values for gases. And in these conditions 1 mole of any gas occupies an approximate volume of 22.4 liters.

On the other side,  1 atmposphere (atm)  equals 101.325 kilopascal (kPa).

So, finally, <u><em>Standard conditions of temperature and pressure for a thermochemical equation are 0°C and 101 kPa. </em></u>

<u><em></em></u>

A mixture of three noble gases has a total pressure of 1.25 atm. The individual pressures exerted by neon and argon are 0.68
FinnZ [79.3K]

First of all, as you seen the gases are noble which means that will not react with each other and in this case each gas create individual pressure.

P_{T}= total pressure

P_{Ne} = pressure of neon

P_{Ar} = pressure of argon

P_{He} = pressure of helium {which is required}

P_{T} = P_{Ne} + P_{Ar} + P_{He}

1.25 = 0.68 + 0.35 +  P_{He}

P_{He}   = 1.25  - [0.68 + 0.35] = 0.22 atm
