For the answer to the question above,
Velocity=distance/time

Data:
distance=10 Km=10 km*(0.621 miles/1 km)=6.21 miles.
time=55 minutes

Velocity=6.21 miles/55 minutes=0.11290909... miles/minute≈0.113 miles/ minute

Data:
distance=1 mile.
velocity=0.113 miles/minute

time=distance /velocity
time=(1 mile) / (0.113 miles/ minute)=8.85668... minutes≈8.86 minutes.

So the answer is 8.86 minutes.

Mrs. Hall has a balance of $450 in her student account. She spends $15 each week on snacks for the after school meetings. If Mrs
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

18 weeks

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of weeks be represented by a variable x;

Beginning balance = 450

Ending balance= 180

Amount spent per week= 15

Amount spent in x weeks = 450-180= $270

Total amount spent in x weeks = 15*x = 15x

Equate the above equations to the corresponding dollar amount;

15x=270

Next, solve for x by dividing both sides by 15

x=270/15

x= 18

Therefore, there are 18 weeks in the semester.

Which figure can serve as a counterexample to the conjecture below?
noname [10]
When we say conjecture, in math, this is defined as a statement that appears to be true but is not yet proven. Now, the question asked for the counterexample, which means, the opposite of the given statement above. Rectangle, rhombus and square are considered parallelograms. Therefore, the figure that can serve as a counterexample to the conjecture given is the TRAPEZOID. The answer would be option D.

Answer:

4

Step-by-step explanation:

you do 2x+2x+6+3x+1 as this is simplified then it is 7x+7=35 then you take away 7 and that is 7x=28 and then u do x=28/7 and then you do x=4 you can check by substituting X
