11. The two angles are vertical angles, which mean they are equal to each other.

14x - 5 = 13x

Add 5 to both sides:

14x = 13x + 5

Subtract 13x from both sides:

x = 5

12.  The two angles are supplementary and when added together need to equal 180 degrees.

5x -20 + 3x = 180

Combine like terms:

8x -20 = 180

Add 20 to both sides:

8x = 200

Divide both sides by 8:

x = 200 /8

x = 25

Rational equations help.
omeli [17]

Answer: first option

Step-by-step explanation:

Direct variation equation has the following form:

y=kx

Where "k" is the constant of variation.

In direct variation  when the variable "x" increases, the variable "y" increases by the same factor and when the variable "x" decreases, the variable "y" decreases by the same factor.

Inverse variation equation has the form:

y=\frac{k}{x}

 Where "k" is the constant of variation.

In inverse variation  when the variable "x" increases, the variable "y" decreases by the same factor and when and when the variable "x" decreases, the variable "y" increases by the same factor.

Given the equation:

r=\frac{l}{pt}

You can observe that "r" varies directly with "l" and inversely with "p" and "t"

a store is selling 6 bags of marbles for $18 what is the unit price for bags of marbles use double number line diagram to suppor
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

We know that the prize of 6 bags of marbles is $18.

Then if each one of the bags costs C, the 6 bags will cost a total of 6 times C.

Then the cost is:

6*C

and this is equal to $18

6*C = $18

Now we want to solve this for C, remember that we can divide both sides of the equation by the same number, then let's divide both sides by 6:

6*C/6 = $18/6

C = $18/6 = $3

Each bag costs $3.

Below you can see a double number line, where above is the number of bags and below is the prize:
