: Yes it is true that distributive bargaining strategies and tactics are useful when a negotiator wants to maximize the value obtained in a single deal.

: In distributive bargaining strategy if one party losses something then it is sure that the other party will gain something as profit. It is completely based on the negotiation done. The negotiation should be done to reduce the money or other assets to as maximum as possible to earn a larger profit in one time. In this the one side that is negotiating continuously forces the other side to accept the deal on their conditions which are not profitable for them.

So it is clear that one of them will definitely loose his profit and the other one will gain it’s advantage. It includes the situation of proper conversation and correct dealing and thus how it resolve the conflict between both the parties. The distributive bargaining strategy is also known as “zero-sum” and “win or lose” and claiming value”.
