Answer: 11

Step-by-step explanation: all you have to do is start from add 1 each time you add a new line. You could do this using your fingers. Raise a finger for each line and count. Start at 5 for your first finger, and continue adding 1. Once you reach 7 fingers, you’ll have reached the number 11. This is the amount of marbles you have. You could also simply do 6+5, because you are adding 6 lines so you’ll have 6 more marbles then in the first line.

zepelin [54]

Answer:

C) There is roughly a 95% chance that the resulting sample proportion will be within 0.04 of the true proportion.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that 20% of the residents in a certain state support an increase in the property tax.

Sample size = 400

We want the sample proportion to be within 0.04 of the true proportion (i.e., between 0.16 and 0.24)

i.e. margin of error <0.04

Std error of sample = \sqrt{\frac{pq}{n} } =\sqrt{\frac{0.2(0.8)}{400} } \\=0.02

Critical value = margin of error/ std error = \frac{0.04}{0.02} \\=2

We know z value for 95% two tailed roughly equals 2.

Hence 95% confidence is right.

C) There is roughly a 95% chance that the resulting sample proportion will be within 0.04 of the true proportion.

Well if it was 8 hours in the morning and 7 in the evening per day of the week it would be 105 divided by 2 for the number of sessions would equal to 52.5 sessions. if it was just that amount of time from that whole week, it would be 15 hours divided by 2 which would give you 7.5... Did that help?
