If Roni and Allie are working together, Roni will mow .71 of the field.

in a chart,  Roni's rate would be 1/30 and Annie's rate would be 1/75.

both of thier times would be x

and the part of field mowed would be 1/30x for Roni and 1/75x for Annie.

the answer is .71

hope this helps :)

A gym membership costs $25 to join and $14 each month. Write and use an algebraic expression to find the cost of the gym members
lina2011 [118]

Answer:

See below.

Step-by-step explanation:

So we know that a gym membership costs $25 plus $14 each month.

In other words, the one-time cost is $25 and there will be a cost of $14 each month.

We can write this as:

f(x)=14x+25

Where f(x) equals the total cost given the number of months x.

For 6 months, the total cost will be:

f(6)=14(6)+25\\f(6)=84+25\\f(6)=\$ 109

Consider the function f(x)=-2/3x +5 <br> what is f(-6) <br> enter your answer in the box <br> f(-6)=
GaryK [48]

Answer:

f(- 6) = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

to evaluate f(- 6), substitute x = - 6 into f(x)

f(- 6) = - \frac{2}{3} × - 6 + 5

        = - \frac{2(-6)}{3} + 5 = 4 + 5 = 9

. Which function's graph has a vertex at (-1, -3) and contains the point (2, 15)?<br> HELPPP PLEASEE
AlexFokin [52]

Answer:

2(x+1)²-3

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the vertex formula we can write the follwoing equation

y=a(x+1)²-3

We need to solve for a

we know that when x= 2 y = 15

So we can write

15=a(2+1)²-3

15=9a-3

18=9a

a=2

Which means our final equation is

2(x+1)²-3

in standard form (just in case)

2x²+4x-1
