F(x)=9x^2 g(x)= sqrt 12-x/3 (f o g)(-4)

f(x)=9x^2 \\ g(x)=\frac{\sqrt{12-x}}{3} \\ So,first step is to write (fog)(-4)) =f[g(-4)] \\

Now we start from inner paranthesis ,we need to first find value of g(-4) =\frac{\sqrt{12-(-4)}}{3}\\ =\frac{\sqrt{12+4}}{3}\\
=\frac{\sqrt{16}}{3}\\
=\frac{4}{3}\\
(fog)(-4)) =f[g(-4)] =f(\frac{4}{3}) =9(4/3)^{2} =9*(16/9) =144/9 =16

Place the indicated product in the proper location on the grid.<br><br> (y + 1/3)(y - 1/3)
NeX [460]

<u><em>Answer:</em></u>

  • <u><em>y² - 1/3</em></u>

<u><em>Step-by-step explanation:</em></u>

<u><em>I kind of don't understand the question. But I tried my best to understand.</em></u>

<u><em>The way I simplify it is to multiply it with each other.</em></u>

<u><em>(y + 1/3)(y - 1/3) </em></u>

<u><em>=> y² - y/3 + y/3 - 1/9</em></u>

<u><em>=> y² - 1/9</em></u>

<u><em>After simplifying, we got y² - 1/9</em></u>

Identify the translation of the figure with the vertices F(4,0), G(1,3), H(2,6) and I(4,2), along the vector ⟨−4,−4⟩. HELP PLEAS
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer:

  the last choice shown here: F'(0, -4), G'(-3, -1), H'(-2, 2), I'(0, -2)

Step-by-step explanation:

The translation vector tells you that the new coordinates are found by adding -4 to each of the old coordinates. When you realize that the answer choices differ in their values for H' and I', you can conclude that you only need to find one of those to determine the correct answer.

  H' = H + (-4, -4) = (2-4, 6-4) = (-2, 2) . . . corresponds to the last choice shown

_____

When you subtract 4 from each of the coordinates of the other points, you find they also match the last answer selection.
