Let b be the number of books in a box. Then we can say that the total number of books is equal to the number of boxes times the number of books per box.

7b=126 divide both sides by 7

b=18

So there are 18 books per box.

Solve the inequality for x. –4x + 6 < 50
natulia [17]

Answer:

x > -11

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Subtract 6 from both sides

-4x + 6 - 6 < 50 - 6

-4x < 44

Step 2: Divide both sides by -4

-4x / -4 < 44 / -4

If you divide by a negative number, you flip the sign.

x > -11

Answer: x > -11
