a lever will balance if the mass of object 1 times its distance from the fulcrum equals the ma's of object 2 times its distance

from the fulcrum

If the distance between the fulcrum and the effort is increased, the distance that the effort must move the lever increases as well. Conversely, if the distance between the fulcrum and the load is decreased, the distance that the lever must move also decreases.

so we have too apply more force to pull the lever cause the distance is 1x smaller then mia lever so on mia lever we ull moree to get it to move!

e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

6.065; 7.358 ; 6.694

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that, profit is quoted using the function :

R = 2pe ^ -0.1p

(a)

When price 'p' = $5

R = 2(5)e^(-0.1*5)

R = 10e^(-0.5)

R = 10 * 0.6065306

R = 6.065

B)

When price 'p' = $10

R = 2(10)e^(-0.1*10)

R = 20e^(-1)

R = 20 * 0.3678794

R = 7.358

C.)

When price 'p' = $15

R = 2(15)e^(-0.1*15)

R = 30e^(-1.5)

R = 30 * 0.2231301

R = 6.694

slavikrds [6]

Answer: c. 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : An independent-measures research study compares three treatment conditions using a sample of n = 5 in each treatment.

For this study, the three sample means are, M1 = 1, M2 = 2, and M3 = 3.

Grand mean = \overline{X}=\dfrac{M1+M2+M3}{3} [All sample have equal elements]

=\dfrac{1+2+3}{3}=2

For ANOVA,

SS_{between}=n\sum(M_i-\overline{X})^2 , where i= 1, 2 , 3

SS_{between}=5((1-2)^2+(2-2)^2+((3-2)^2)

SS_{between}=5((-1)^2+(0)^2+((1)^2)= 5(1+1)=10

Hence,the value would be obtained for SS_{between}=10 .

hence, the correct answer = c. 10

Need help fast don't understand both A and B show work please
Shkiper50 [21]
Problem A
Usually the number of bits in a byte is 8 or 16 or 32 and recently 64. You don't have to write a formula to restrict it to this number of bits. You are not asked to do so. The general formula is 2^n - 1 for the problem of Millie and her golden keys. Somehow the system can be made to choose the right number of bits. Apple IIe s for example, used 8 bits and there was a location that told the processor that fact.

2^n - 1 <<<<< Answer

Problem B
In this case n = 4
2^n - 1 = 2^4 - 1 = 16 - 1 = 15

Millie can collect 15 keys <<<<<< Answer
