Answer:

8. x = 16

9. x = 10

14.

m ∠RSU = 130°

m ∠UST = 50°

15.

m ∠RSU = 124°

m ∠UST = 56°

Step-by-step explanation:

8.

Given ∠DEF is bisected by EG. That is , ∠DEG = ∠GEF

That is , (x + 15)° = 31°

                x = 31 - 15 =  16

9.

Given ∠DEF is bisected by EG. That is , ∠DEG = ∠GEF

That is ,

           (6x - 4)° = 56°

            6x = 56 + 4

               6x = 60

                 x = 10

14.

13x + 5x = 180°                       [straight line angles ]

18x = 180

x = 10

m ∠RSU = 130°

m ∠UST = 50°

15.

4x + 12 + 2x = 180°                       [ straight line angles]

6x = 180 - 12

6x = 168

x = 28

m ∠RSU = 4(28) + 12 = 112 + 12 = 124°

m ∠UST = 2(28) = 56°

Once again co sines . Please help me and include explanation with a clear answer
vladimir1956 [14]

Using the law os cosines formula b^2 = a^2 + c^2 - 2*a*c*cos(B)

a = 17, b = 8, c = 16

8^2 = 17^2 + 16^2 - 2*17*16* cos(B)

64 = 289 + 256 - 544 * cos(B)

544*cos(B) = 289 + 256 - 64

544 * cos(B) = 481

cos (B) = 481/544

B = arccos(481/544)

B = 27.8 degrees

I need help with both of these problems
GREYUIT [131]
The first question is D because if the
y-intercept is 1 then every point moves down three units.

The second question is J because a vertical line is not a function so it can’t be a linear function.
