Answer:

d = 3.11 g /cm³

Explanation:

Volume -

The volume of a cuboidal object can be calculated by multiplying the length , width and height ,

Hence , Volume ( V ) = l * w * h ,

From the question ,

l = 8.2 cm

w = 3.8 cm

h = 7 cm

Hence, the volume is ,

V = l * w * h

V = 8.2 cm * 3.8 cm * 7 cm

V = 218.12 cm³

Density -

Density of a substance is given as the mass divided by the volume ,

Hence,

d = m / V

From the question,

m = 0.68 kg

since ,

1 kg = 1000g

m = 0.68 * 1000 = 680 g

V = 218.12 cm³ ( calculated above )

Hence , the value of density can be calculated by using the above equation,

d = m / V

d = 680 g / 218.12 cm³

d = 3.11 g /cm³

0.000431 L<br><br> Express your answer as an integer.
Molodets [167]

A whole number, not a fraction, that can be negative, positive or zero are integers. They cannot have decimal places.

Now, converting 0.000431 L to decimal an integer as:

0.000431 L = 431\times 10^{-6} L

Since, 1 L = 10^{6} \mu L

So, 431\times 10^{-6} L\times \frac{10^{6 \mu L}}{1 L} = 431 \mu L.

Hence, the integer value for 0.000431 L is 431 \mu L[.

Compare and contrast: element, atom, isotope
blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

Element is made up of the atoms or isotopes. Isotopes are where only neutrons change in number, such as 3 turning to 2 or to 5. Atom is where it is not changed and it is the original, and example is instead of Carbon13 it is just Carbon. I hope this helps.
