<em> Polarized light waves are light waves in which the vibrations occur in a single plane. The process of transforming unpolarized light into polarized light is known as polarization. There are a variety of methods of polarizing light.</em>

A farmhand pushes a 26-kg bale of hay 3.9 m across the floor of a barn. If she exerts a horizontal force of 88 N on the hay, how
Tamiku [17]

Answer:

W =  343.2 J

Explanation:

Given that,

Mass of bale of hay = 26 kg

Horizontal force exerted = 88 N

Distance moved, d = 3.9 m

Work done, W = Fd

Put all the values,

W = 88 N × 3.9 m

= 343.2 J

So, the work done is 343.2 J.

A particle is moving along a circular path of 2-m radius such that its position as a function of time is given by u = (5t 2) rad
OverLord2011 [107]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given

radius of  path r=2\ m

Velocity of Particle \theta =5t^2 rad

where t=time in seconds

angular velocity of particle is given by

\omega =\frac{\mathrm{d} \theta }{\mathrm{d} t}

\omega =2\times 5t=10\cdot t

And angular acceleration is given by

\alpha =\frac{\mathrm{d} \omega }{\mathrm{d} t}

\alpha =10 rad/s^2

tangential acceleration is a_t=\alpha \times r

a_t=10\times 2=20\ m/s^2

Centripetal acceleration a_c=\omega ^2\times r

a_c=(10t)^2\times 2=200t^2

net acceleration is sum of tangential and centripetal force at any time t is given by

a_{net}=\sqrt{(a_c)^2+(a_t)^2}

a_{net}=\sqrt{(200t)^2+(20)^2}

a_{net}=20\sqrt{(10t)^2+1}\ m/s

how much time do it take for a cheetah running at a speed of 31.67m/s to travel a distance of 1361.81m
ExtremeBDS [4]
V=D/T
V is speed
D is distance
T is time
V=D/T
31.67 m/s = 1361.81 m / T
31.67/31.67=1361.81/31.67
T=43 seconds
Hope this helps
