Hi!

-3a - 3 = -2 + 3p

-3a=3p+1

\frac{-3a}{3}=\frac{3p+1}{-3}

Answer------>a=-p+\frac{-1}{3}

Explanation: <u><em>First you had to add by 3 from both sides. It gave us -3a=3p+1. Then divide into -3 from both sides. It gave us -3a/-3=3p+1/-3, or a=-p+-1/3 is the right answer. Hope this helps! And thank you for posting  your question at here on Brainly. And have a great day. -Charlie</em></u>

Brainly is erroneously preventing my response from being posted due to nonexistent profanity or links. So, I have converted my answer into an image file, which I have attached. I also attached an annotated diagram of the figure in the image you posted. Please let me know if you have trouble accessing either. Hope this helps.

Solve the equation for x in terms of c
Dovator [93]

solve\:for\:x,\:\frac{2}{3}\left(cx+\frac{1}{2}\right)-\frac{1}{4}=\frac{5}{2}

\mathrm{Add\:}\frac{1}{4}\mathrm{\:to\:both\:sides}

\frac{2}{3}\left(cx+\frac{1}{2}\right)-\frac{1}{4}+\frac{1}{4}=\frac{5}{2}+\frac{1}{4}

\frac{2}{3}\left(cx+\frac{1}{2}\right)=\frac{11}{4}

\mathrm{Multiply\:both\:sides\:by\:}3

3\cdot \frac{2}{3}\left(cx+\frac{1}{2}\right)=\frac{11\cdot \:3}{4}

2cx+1=\frac{33}{4}

\mathrm{Subtract\:}1\mathrm{\:from\:both\:sides}

2cx+1-1=\frac{33}{4}-1

2cx=\frac{29}{4}

\mathrm{Divide\:both\:sides\:by\:}2c

x=\frac{29}{8c}

<h3>Therefore, correct option is C. option.</h3><h3>C. x=29/8c</h3>
